Gillian’s story was featured on @BBCTheOneShow recently.

Hope all our @CityWestminster residents & businesses enjoy freedom day - great to see people visiting our fabulous restaurants, bars, shops & cultural attractions. But it's vital we stay vigilant in the fight against Covid - remember the health advice & keep a lid on the virus.

“Cutting funding in the capital would look more like levelling down, which would be bad both for our city, and for the UK recovery too.”

Our Chair calls on Government to ensure London receives its fair share of funding for employment and skills https://www.google.com.hk/amp/s/www.standard.co.uk/news/politics/boris-johnson-london-levelling-up-b945944.html%3famp

This is welcome news.

The levelling up agenda must be about improving livelihoods and opportunities in all parts of the UK - including London.

Levelling down London would not benefit the rest of the UK.
