Central London Integration Hub

 The Central London Integration Hub aims to support employment and skills services to work better together, and to help central London residents access the support they need to move into decent work.

Overview

About

The employment and skills system in London is highly complex. Londoners often struggle to find the support that would best meet their needs, and services don’t work together as well as they could. As part of the London-wide ‘No Wrong Door’ programme, the Central London Integration Hub aims to support employment and skills services to work better together, and to help central London residents access the support they need to move into good work.

The Hub focuses on three cohorts – disabled residents, refugees and NEET young people aged 17 to 24 – who face significant labour market disadvantage.

Funded by GLA, the Central London Integration Hub was launched in July 2022. Since then, the hub has:

  • Commissioned research from Learning and Work Institute to understand the needs of our priority cohorts, and map their journeys through the system;
  • Formed three integration networks, bringing together organisations working with refugees, disabled people and NEET young people (17-24) to support partnership working;
  • Held job fairs and insight days promote inclusive recruitment;
  • Delivered training to employers and practitioners, helping them understand the needs of our priority cohorts;
  • Commissioned research from Learning and Work Institute and Inclusion London on the design and delivery of Connect to Work (2025);
  • Monitored the existing provision and produced referral guidance.
  • Commissioned a data project to produce a dashboard of NEET 18-24 data across central London.
