Employer Support
Central London Forward (CLF) supports employers to ensure Central London remains a great place to do business. We bring together boroughs, employers and partners to address shared workforce, skills and economic challenges.
Connecting employers, skills and growth across Central London
Through employer-led programmes, strategic partnerships and hands-on support, we help businesses attract, develop and retain talent. We connect employers with local skills pipelines, help them adapt to change, and ensure public-sector initiatives align with business needs. By working collaboratively, we support sustainable growth, productivity and inclusive prosperity across Central London.
Helping you fill your vacancies
Our employment programmes support local people into quality jobs, including those facing the greatest barriers to employment.
Working closely with employers, local authority employment services and the Jobs & Careers Service (previously JCP), we connect businesses with motivated, job-ready candidates. Our tailored recruitment support includes candidate pre-screening, interview preparation and mock interviews, helping you find the right fit while reducing time and administrative burden.
We also provide guidance on risk assessments, reasonable adjustments, Access to Work funding and employment legislation. Our support continues after recruitment through in-work assistance, helping new starters settle successfully and improving retention while reducing onboarding risk.
If social value and inclusive recruitment are priorities for your organisation, we can help you build a strong, local talent pipeline.

The benefits of employing disabled people
More than 7.7 million people of working age in the UK are disabled or have a long-term health condition, yet disabled people remain significantly underrepresented in employment.
Encouraging applications from disabled people benefits your business by helping you to:
- Increase access to high-quality candidates
- Build a workforce that reflects the diversity of your customers and communities
- Gain additional skills, including British Sign Language (BSL), which can deliver significant cost savings
- Improve staff retention and engagement
- Strengthen your organisation’s social value and inclusion commitments
Most workplace adjustments are low cost or free, and financial support is available through schemes such as Access to Work.
